WP 3: Overview of socio-economic, demographic and agricultural structures in rural areas of the NMS12 using regional NUTS3 data

Objectives

1. To establish a database at NUTS3 level for the NMS12 (socioeconomic, demographic, and agricultural data)
2. To perform a cartographic and statistical analysis of the compiled data.
3. To develop a typology of rural areas in the NMS12 using multivariate statistical methods.

• D 3.1 Database for the NMS12 (on NUTS3 level as Excel file (Month 12)
• D 3.2 Working Paper "Socio-economic, demographic and agricultural patterns of rural areas in the new Member States" (Month 12)
• D 3.3 Working Paper "A typology of rural areas in the new Member States" (Month 15)
